As a soccer player and FIFA fanatic, I could not be happier that tomorrow is Tuesday. On September 24, 2013, people around the world will flock to video game stores and mailboxes to get the newest version of the beloved soccer video game. Some stores will sell out within minutes as consumers from the age of grade school kids, to middle aged men, run to try out the next big thing.
Athletes, gamers, and even those that don't own video games, are equally excited to try out the craze that everyone has been waiting for. FIFA even markets the game as being loved by all ages and all cultures emphasizing in its TV commercial that young girls, famous soccer players, and even Drake will want to play the new game.
So is it all hype or will you be playing in the shoes (or cleats) of soccer's biggest stars some time soon?
I know I can't wait whether it is the game that everyone loves and everyone's parents despise or it is the biggest flop, I will be seated in my friend's dorm room tomorrow trying to resist spending those precious homework hours on PS3 playing the best game ever created.
