I love kids just as much as the next person, so how could you deny these kids your attention? AT&T has effectively advertised their brand by using kids as a gateway into the hearts of the consumer.
When the kids start talking, I swear I die a little inside. They are the cutest kids ever, and I all I want to do is pick one up and squeeze them like a teddy bear. I mean really. Who would say grapes come from raisins? Or that their place on the race to cuteness is kindergarten. This specific advertisement gets me to smile no matter how many times I play it. (Trust me. I have watched this maybe too many times.)
While I am enthralled with the cuteness of the children, I can't help to think that these kids could just be actors. How much of this cuteness is scripted? It saddens me to think that the kid was told to say those things. But their cute voices...
At least for me, this ad has effectively captured my attention and captured my attention by the use of kids. AT&T has utilized the majority's love for kids to create advertisements that portray how speed is what everyone wants and that id what AT&T has.
Maybe reading too much into this, but I also find really interesting in the advertisements is the fact that this advertisements is not a typical White dominant advertisement. The kids are of different races. I think this is effective due to the fact that cuteness is not only captured within one race, but I just think that advertisements, in general, should capture cuteness and beauty through more than one race.
The kids in this ad captures the consumer with its cuteness and leaves me speechless. Have you been captured by their cuteness? I know I have!
