Angry, disappointed, and humiliated
was how I felt after watching the Crede d’ore worth a sin commercial! How can
industries to use this type of concepts on their advertisements? How can women
accept to make this type of commercials that are only portraying women as a
sexual object?
I do not understand how a
commercial like this is appealing to ice cream customers. Instead of
advertising food it seems more of a sex commercial that once again it is
affecting the woman reputation. The use of a beautiful elegant woman is damage
by the action of getting the ice cream that fell on the man. Industries use
woman to as entertainment giving them an immoral role.
It is evident that the industry behind this
advertisement wanted to present women as irresistible for Crede d'ore ice
cream. But was it really necessary to use
that concept? Why did the woman had to get the ice cream by liking the hand? Of
course, if she didn’t have done that the sexual misconception would have not
happen and it would have been a boring commercial to many if the viewers. I
wonder why didn’t the industry use a male model to advertise what the woman did
in this video. Sexism is obvious in this commercial and that is very upsetting.
As a woman I feel humiliated by
this commercial because it is makes my gender look dirty species and sexual
objects.
