"We are women". I have to acknowledge that this is one of the most beautiful sanitary towel advertisement I have ever come across. The amount of thought and attention to detail that went into it makes it exceptional. Initially, I surprised at just how long it was since we all know that ads are usually really short, catchy and to the point because advertisers are aware that consumers are on the go and don't always have time to watch the billions of ads that they come across whilst on the internet.
"We are women", the opening sentence seems to set the mood for the entire ad. I wanted to know what this ad had to tell me about myself that I did not already know. The ad then briefly mentions a number of problems and emotions that we face as women. These are things that most women can relate to and by doing so Lil-let shows that it understands how tuff it is to be a woman and sympathises with them. Lil-let understands that women have to deal with a lot of emotional struggles as they go through life and of all those problems, it aims to reduce stressing about periods by providing carefully designed for comfort sanitary towels and tampons.
Using the technique of sympathizing with the consumer definitely won me over as it has triggered my interest in lil-lets. Its a technique many more ads use to draw the consumer into the desired product? How many of us are won over by this technique in ads?
