Someone is Trying to Understand Us

The CEO of Michael Kors has spoken! He has told the world that he believes that the way that we (as in teenagers) are going to change the way that we shop. Kors believes at "disposable fashion will be something of the past" because we will start to change in the way we shop.

He believes that we will stop buying the fashion trends that only last for a bit and that we will start to buy item that will last. Kors thinks that the "going green" movement is going to start making us want to buy items that will actually last us longer than a year. We are gonna want to start inventing more into something that will last and that it won't be disposable.

I think that I can agree with him. I have seen a bit of a shift with some of my friends and myself. We are no longer buying stuff that will just last us for three months, rather we want something that lasts us for three years. When I was reading this article, I though to myself that we are going to change our lifestyle to back to the 1950's. In the 1950's people bought stuff that lasted and if it were to ever break, they would find a way to fix it. It's just weird how history starts to repeat its self.  But over all, I  think that it would be nice to change the current wasteful lifestyle.
